"Interesting, but it was difficult to find this article. I can however only second what people said, it's also good to know that most people think the same."

"As a MAX user I did not update my version since V.8 and all of the reasons are mentioned in the survey above. It was very affirmative to see all this in a survey, which will of course make some impression on the developers. I don?t think that a company like Autodesk is getting this message, fundamental decissions there will only be made due to sales figures. The message should be to the others: there?s a market with a huge mass of unsatisfied customers, let?s develop the software they want. If my projects will allow it, I?ve planned thorough research on alternative production pipelines alongside max. I will vote with my feet."

maya and 3dsmax are by far the most disapointing package in the market. No upgrade no recode the tools....just buyng plugins and launch the soft like a new one. DISAPOINTING ......

"Blender is great and I don't understand those who complain about its UI. Once you have learned hotkeys you don't care of UI. What's a bad thing with Blender is you nevertheless have to buy one of big 3d packages to do a number of quite common and sometimes quite simple things, which are just no way possible in Blender. I love UV, rigging, face snapping, and many other things in Blender although. It's a pity they seems like going to waste their time with changing UI instead of adding missed features."
